Ep. 39: Documentation Legislation

A new bill with provisions helpful to people with limb loss/difference has just been approved by the House and is moving to the Senate. The Medicare Orthotics and Prosthetics Improvement Act of 2017 addresses several issues affecting our community, including the current Medicare policy excluding prosthetist's notes from the official medical record for payment purposes.
